BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER 

Salary: £28,063 – £28,614 per annum

Hours: 37hrs per week

 

Women’s Aid ABCLN is recruiting for a new Business Development Manager who will engage volunteers and supporters, partner organisations, communities and funders to drive income generation and support, and increase the capacity, resilience and sustainability of the organisation into the future. The role will focus on ‘people’ – engaging volunteers and supporters in our work and ‘partnerships’ – building relationships to maximise potential funding and support across the organisation. This post is funded by The National Lottery Communities Fund for Northern Ireland Dormant Accounts Fund NI.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop key relationships that will enhance income generation and support for Women’s Aid ABCLN to ensure the future sustainability and expansion of core domestic abuse services.

• Build professional relationships, networks of support and partnership opportunities that will secure sustainable income generation opportunities for the organisation.

• Work collaboratively with volunteers and supporters, partner organisations, communities and funders to enhance the work of the organisation. This will involve engagement with major corporates, community businesses and groups, trusts & foundations and philanthropists to develop a diverse range of funding streams.

• Set targets/objectives against each income stream to ensure planned and achievable growth is delivered year on year to meet organisational needs in line with funding priorities.

• Work with SMT/CEO and Management Board to develop new business models and income generation streams including social economy opportunities that will increase capacity and financial resilience, and ensure the long-term sustainability of the organisation into the future.
